The tournament committee gets one singles and one doubles wild card in addition to the singles wild card awarded to the winner of the Wild Card tournament. The wild card selection committee awarded this to Tomas Jecminek, the former assistant tennis coach at Ouachita Baptist University. Tomas is currently pursuing an MBA at Baylor University but has been ranked as high as 448 in the world when he played professionally. He has had tournament wins against Tomas Berdych, Mardy Fish and Dmitry Tursunov, currently ranked #22, 28 and 26 respectively.

Doubles Wild Card will be awarded to Matt Roberts and Adrians Zguns if they are not placed in the main draw by the USTA. If they are, the doubles wild card will be awarded to the winner of the Wild Card division. The winners could be Richard Akel (Arkansas Tennis Hall of Fame member) and Greg Fess (former Arkansas Razorback tennis player) if they can get by J.P Ritchie and Bart Van Monsjou in the final match. The doubles finals will be held on Friday due to rain delay.
