We have an American in both the singles and doubles finals but all of our local players have exited the tournament. Ryan Young and Vasek Pospisil (CAN) will take on Kaden Hensel (AUS) and Adam Hubble (AUS) in the doubles final at 1pm this morning. Hensel and Hubble were both all american tennis players for the University of Tennessee. Pre-finals introductions and welcome will begin around 12:45, immediately following the brunch in the PVCC ballroom open to everyone.
The finals will feature qualifier Matej Bocko of Slovakia against American Michael McClune. Matej eliminated the #3 seed Tigran Martirosyan (ARM) in a close, windy match yesterday. He will face Michael McClune who edged out the #5 seed Andrey Kumantsov (RUS) in a second set tiebreaker 11-9.
