The Wild Card tournament is a great opportunity for competitive juniors and Arkansas college players to get on the courts with some great players and possibly earn a berth into the St. Vincents Professional Tennis Tournament main draw. And if you can’t play, be sure and come out and watch. The draw is filling up with rising young pros who don’t have the ranking to get into the main draw but will definitely be contenders over the next year or so.
The Wild Card Tournament has singles and doubles divisions and will take place March 30-April 1 at Rebsamen Tennis Center. Play will begin after noon each day. If you need special match time considerations, contact Raul Bermudez and he may be able to accommodate you.
Contact Raul Bermudez at Rebsamen Tennis center at 501-766-1119 or email bermudeztennisacademy@yahoo.com for more information.
IN CASE OF RAIN, indoor courts will be available to begin play at 9:00 p.m., Little Rock Athletic Club (LRAC).
DIRECTIONS to LRAC from Rebsamen: Get on 630 West - take 430 North - take Cantrell exit, turn left (West). Go west, turning left at traffic light onto Sam Peck. LRAC is about 0.3 miles on the right.
The singles winner of the Pre-Qualifying tournament will receive a wild card into the main draw. The doubles winner will get a wild card to the main draw on a space available basis and there are no guarantees. Play to have fun, the competition will be great.
